Trip to St Paul's Cathedral

On Monday 5 March 2012, Father Duncan from the St Way Church (Leopold Estate) kindly organised a VIP tour for members of the Leopold project and LiC volunteers. The unique tour allowed the participants access sections of the Cathedral closed to the public. The pictures below were taken by a professional photographer called Ollie Harrop a resident artist living on the Leopold estate.

Young People's Film in Partnership with St Paul's Way Trust School

Every Tuesday afternoon, film makers from LiC are working with young people at St Paul's Trust School on their Asdan project. The students are making a film where killer zombies have attacked the school and only two surviving students combat the zombies and save the day. Once the film is complete I will post it here.

The Leopold Christmas Event

We decided to hold a Christmas Event for all the residents that have taken part in the project so far. The event was held on Thursday December 15th LiC at St Pauls Church, Bow Common which is very local to the residents. Everyone that attended got to enjoy free food and drink while watching performances from some of the young people we have been working with and also performances from residents of the Leopold Estate. We also had Santa's Grotto and facepainting for the children which was very popular at the event. Over 100 residents turned up which LiC are extremely pleased with and we hope to carry on working with them on the Leopold Project next year.
